For reasons that no longer make sense, I began writing under the pen name TechGOnzo in May 2007 for my own blog, the wasted space, and later for Geeks of Doom. I did this because, at the time, I feared  my online presence might indirectly interfere with my day job reporting for local news publications.

Thus, TechGOnzo was created.

Yet, as my freelance print assignments become less frequent it is increasingly difficult to juggle two separate persona. The new “Geek Blog” tab is my attempt to streamline everything together.
